Joining the Board

  • Apply for a seat on the Board

    The Uptown Community Planning Group has a cycle of seats that come up for election each year. The following seats are up for election in March of 2025:

    Property Owner Medical Center
    Property Owner Middletown
    Renter Hillcrest
    Renter Mission Hills
    Renter Middletown
    Two Business seats

    Application period is closed. Be sure to check the candidate criteria to the right to make sure you’re eligible to serve.

  • Neighborhood Candidate Criteria

    Neighborhood seats are reserved for resident homeowners, renters or property owners within each neighborhood. Seats are elected by neighborhood.

    Business Seats are open to any business operating within Uptown and are elected at large. The board member can be the business owner or a designee.
